The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the world, with 120,000 members. NASW works to enhance the professional growth and development of its members, to create and maintain professional standards, and to advance sound social policies. NASW-Michigan aims to support, promote and advocate for professional social work practice, practitioners and the social work profession, and to improve the quality of life for the people of Michigan.

  • (Below) MPACE Recruiting for 2018. Angel Foster, LMSW, Chair of M-PACE, encourages Michigan social workers to get involved in political advocacy during the upcoming election season. The Michigan Political Action for Candidate Election (M-PACE) Committee is the political action arm of the National Association of Social Workers – Michigan Chapter and is recruiting new members. As a political action committee, M-PACE endorses and financially contributes to candidates from any party who support NASW - Michigan's policy agenda.
