Timelines

Submission Deadline

Completed applications MUST be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event start date. Applications submitted 30-60 days prior to the event start date will be assessed an automatic rush fee for their application (see the “Rush Fees” section below). To avoid any rush fees, submit your application at least 61 days prior to the event start date.

Application Decision

Once we receive your completed application, you can expect a response from our office based on the below timelines:

• Up to 3 weeks: Applications submitted 61+ days prior to the event start date
• Up to 1 week: Rush applications submitted 30-60 days prior to the event start date
  

Completed applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your application will not be considered complete until payment has been received and processed by the NASW-Michigan Chapter.

Provider Options

Option 1: Unlimited Provider

Unlimited Providers pay one annual fee and does not pay for subsequent CE Provider Applications (excepting applicable rush fees) for events that occur within 1 year of the initial event start date. Fees are determined based on whether your organization/department is a CSWE-accredited school of social work, non-profit, or for-profit. Your organization/department should consider becoming an Unlimited Provider if you are seeking CE credit approval for multiple events per year.

As a note: separate departments within the same organization that run CE programming separate from each other are considered different entities for our purposes and would need to pay for their own separate provider fees.

Option 2: Individual Provider

Individual Providers pay for each CE Provider Application separately. Fees are determined based on two factors: (1) whether your organization/department is non-profit or for-profit and (2) how many days long the event is. Your organization/department should consider becoming an Individual Provider if you are only seeking CE credit approval for a single isolated event or if you are only seeking CE credit approval for 1-2 events per year.

• $800.00: Non-Profit Organizations
• $1,600.00: For-Profit Organizations

Individual Provider

Non-Profit Organizations

• $175.00: 1 day event
• $225.00: 2 day event
• $425.00: 3-4 day event
• $500.00: 5+ day event

For-Profit Organizations

• $350.00: 1 day event
• $425.00: 2 day event
• $490.00: 3-4 day event
• $600.00: 5+ day event

Rush Fees

About Rush Fees

Applications submitted 30-60 days prior to the event start date will be assessed an automatic rush fee for their application. Rush fees are in addition to the application fee listed above. Applications assessed a rush fee will undergo an expedited review (1 week vs 3 weeks). As a note, applications submitted less than 30 days prior to the event start date will NOT be accepted.

Rush Fee Amounts

• $75.00: Applications submitted 46-60 days prior to the event start date
• $100.00: Applications submitted 30-45 days prior to the event start date
