Are you ready to take your social work career to the next level? NASW-Michigan is looking for creative, committed, and innovative social workers to serve on our Board of Directors, the Chapter Committee on Nominations and Leadership Identification, and as a Chapter Delegate. Positions range from 1-3 year terms, all of which will begin on July 1, 2019.

NASW-Michigan Board of Directors- The NASW-Michigan Chapter is governed by a 19-member Board of Directors, comprised of members elected by the general membership. Please click here to see a list of current board members and here to view the current chapter charter.
The Chapter Committee On Nominations & Leadership Identification (CCNLI) is responsible for annually developing of a slate of candidates for available positions on the Board of Directors and the Delegate Assembly, making recommendations for National committees activities, and developing a leadership roster for Presidential appointments.
The Delegate Assembly is the representative, decision-making body through which NASW members set broad organizational policy, establish program priorities, and develop a collective stance on public and professional issues. The Delegate Assembly is comprised of 220 elected delegates, including the National Board of Directors. NASW-Michigan has 9 voting delegates.
