NASW MI Eblast Policy Change: Begining February 1, 2014

Starting February 1, 2014 NASW Michigan will be altering our email blast services to help better improve member communication and better highlight community events around the state provided by our fiscal partners.

A Michigan Social Work Community Post eblast will be sent out to the NASW Michigan membership the second and fourth Friday of each month, which is an opportunity to get your event or services highlighted. Each Community Post may contain up to 4 different posts. Post will be ordered by the date the signed contract was received. The first Community Post of 2014 will go out February 14th.

Information can be sent as either a word document or JGP/PNG file.

· 200 word count limit with small image/logo. Links may be included

· Image (jpg/png) with size dimensions 525px (width) by 350px (height). Image can have one link attached to it.

Blast contract and content must be sent at least one week prior to posting for editing and proof confirmation. Blast postings are $150 per week sent out.

*No conference promotion will be accepted between February 15-April 15 each year.

Over the holiday season we also transitioned to a new web-host, which will now allow us to provide open and click rates of eblasts (upon request) to our fiscal partners.

Sample items for Blasts include:

· Continuing Education Events

· Social Work Articles/Information

· Company Profiles Offering Services of Interest

· Social Work Job Openings

Blast DO NOT include:

· Research Study Participation Requests

· Questionable Business Marketing

· Liability Insurance Companies or Programs

· Non-Approved Continuing Education

Additionally, we now offer a much more comprehensive Career Center. Agencies are able to post employment opportunities for . You can find more information or post a job here. NASW Michigan will send out a job bulletin eblast the first week of each month that includes a list of all current job postings.
