| Michigan Social Work Mentors |
Are you passionate about the future of Social Work?
![]() If you are a seasoned social work professional with years of experience, dedication and commitment to the field, the National Association of Social Workers-Michigan Chapter needs you!
We are looking for individuals to mentor social work students and help lead the next generation of advocates. What is a mentor? A mentor is a friend who shares knowledge, expertise, skills, insights, and experiences through dialogue and collaborative learning. How much of a commitment is required? It is totally up to you and your mentee. A conversation over coffee. A weekly phone conversation. An opportunity for job shadowing. It truly is a unique relationship.
If you have a little margin in your life and are interested in becoming a mentor to a social work student, please complete the short survey below. We will compile the list of prospective mentors to create a database which will only be accessible to NASW student members. This program will be rolled out in March of 2015 for national social work month!
