NTI School-Based Mental Health Professionals Training

The School-based Mental Health Professionals Training developed by the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.), provides the foundational knowledge, values, and skills that school counselors, social workers, psychologists, and school-based therapists need to effectively support the mental health and well-being of children experiencing foster care, adoption, kinship care and/or significant separation and loss of birth family, community, and culture. Core competencies include understanding and addressing the complex and often nuanced mental health needs of children who have experienced significant losses and/or trauma.

NASW National: Social Work Online CEC Institute

Use this online tool to explore education and training beyond degree status. Take these courses on your own time and at your own pace. All courses through NASW national's CEC Institute are are acceptable for your license renewal in Michigan.

US Department of Health and Human Services: SOAR Online

Select courses approved for social work CEs through the SOAR Online program are available for FREE! Follow all instructions on the SOAR Online webpage to earn your free CEs. Please make sure to confirm that the course you take is accredited for social work CEs, as not all of them are.
