Are You Using Mind-Body Techniques in Your Personal or Professional Life?

Be part of a national survey and help elevate holistic approaches in social work!

We invite you to participate in a nationwide survey exploring how social workers are integrating (or curious about integrating) mind-body practices into their personal and professional lives.

This study is being conducted by researchers at the University of Michigan-Flint, in collaboration with community-based social workers connected to the NASW-Michigan Mind-Body in Social Work Interest Group.

Mind-body practices are a wide range of approaches—including yoga, meditation, art, music, dance, breathwork, guided imagery, animal therapies, and other techniques—that foster brain-body interactions to support health and well-being.

Your insights will help inform future research, education, and training around holistic and integrative social work.

🕑 The survey takes only 10–15 minutes to complete.

Thank you for lending your voice to this important project. Together, we can advance understanding of the role of mind-body practices in social work.
