NASW-Michigan is hiring SUD trainers and presenters!
NASW-Michigan is expanding its behavioral health workforce in Michigan, and we need strong trainers and presenters to work on our SUD Workforce Enhancement Training Series.
We are currently searching for trainers and presenters dedicated to advancing clinical practice and the core values and ethics of the social work profession.
The purpose of the NASW Michigan's SUD Workforce Enhancement Training Series is to provide Substance Use Disorder (SUD) education and treatment strategies for social workers interested in working with or increasing knowledge in providing SUD services to underserved populations. NASW-Michigan will offer specialized population SUD continuing education training for social workers in Michigan.
This training series is broken down into nine micro-courses, each hosted by subject matter experts using the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria as the evidence-based tool.
Areas we are currently recruiting speakers for the following SUD areas:
African American, Latinx, Indigenous/Native American
