"UPHP recently released the bulletin referenced below with an effective date of April 1, 2020. Based on your feedback, UPHP is suspending this change until further notice. Claims submitted by nonphysician behavioral health providers with dates of service on or after April 1, 2020 will continue to be reimbursed at the physician fee schedule rates. Thank you for your continued dedication to serving our members!"
We want to thank all of the U.P. social workers who have been advocating on this the last 48 hours! NASW-Michigan will continue to work on this issue and making sure social workers are reimbursed at the highest rates possible.
