The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, in partnership with the Maternal Infant Strategy Group and the Regional Perinatal Quality Collaboratives, invite you to participate in an upcoming Town Hall Meeting.

Much like the Town Hall Meetings in 2018, these meetings are opportunities for communities to offer thoughts and feedback related to the key strategies for addressing preventable adverse birth outcomes in Michigan moms and infants, as well as on the strengths and challenges in individual communities.

The voice of the community is vital to achieving healthy outcomes for all moms and babies in Michigan. Community members and maternal infant health stakeholders are invited to attend. This includes families, community leaders, public health, clinicians, behavioral health professionals, housing authorities, business partners, home visiting professionals, etc.

Region 4 – West Michigan – Thursday, September 19, 2019 5:30pm – 7:30pm at Salvation Army Kroc Center in Grand Rapids

Region 5 – Saginaw Bay Area – Friday, September 13, 2019 12:00pm – 2:00 pm at Saginaw Valley University, Curtiss Hall

Region 6 – Thumb Area – Tuesday, September 17, 2019 5:30 pm – 7:30pm at Tuscola Technology Center in Caro, with alternate locations also available (see registration link for additional locations)

Region 7 – Capital Area – Thursday, September 12, 2019 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Ingham County Health Department, Building 3, in Lansing
