Ruth Dunkle elected president of SSWR

Ruth Dunkle, Professor of Social Work and Associate Dean for Faculty and Academic Affairs at the University of Michigan School of Social Work was elected president of the Society for Social Work and Research. The Society for Social Work and Research represents more than 2,000 members in more than 200 universities and social work institutions and is dedicated to the advancement or social work research.

 

Dunkle is the William J. Cohen Collegiate Professor of Social Work, and previously served as interim dean and the Chair of the University of Michigan’s Joint Doctoral Program in Social Work and Social Science.
