Ferris State University students host fundraiser to help Flint volunteers

TRAVERSE CITY, Mi. (WPBN/WGTU) -- A group of students in northern Michigan held a fundraiser to help volunteers in Flint.

Ferris State University social work students hosted a spaghetti dinner Thursday night at the VFW post in Traverse City.

Along with donations, there was a silent auction at the event. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the spaghetti dinner will go toward the American Red Cross which will be used to feed volunteers working in Flint.
