The Beck Scholarship is available to one Master of Social Work (MSW) student each year who plans to use his or her social work degree to improve the lives of low-income people in Michigan. The amount of the scholarship depends on the interest earned on
the principal. The scholarship awarded for the 2015-2016 school year will be $800 – $1,000 based on available funds.
To receive a scholarship for the 2015-2016 school year, the introductory paragraph and essay must be sent to Peter Ruark at pruark@mlpp.org on or before July 31, 2015. The recipient will be chosen in August and will receive the award in September 2015.
