Heidi McGraw joins staff at Disability Network of Mid-Michigan in Midland

MIDLAND, MI — Heidi McGraw has joined Disability Network of Mid-Michigan's skill development program as an employment training specialist. In her new role, McGraw works with people who have disabilities, helping them to identify and overcome barriers to employment. McGraw also facilitates the Delta Project for Midland County, a skill development program for high school students aimed at easing their transition from high school to college. She has a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Saginaw Valley State University and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. McGraw previously had an internship at the Child Abuse and Neglect Council Great Lakes Bay Region, where she worked with children and families dealing with abuse. She also has worked with the MPA Group in Bay City, providing assistance for people with mental and physical disabilities. Disability Network of Mid-Michigan's skill development program provides children and adults with the skills necessary to increase their independence. The program is available to persons with disabilities over 14 years of age.
