Linda Gleesing, court services manager since September of 2000 for the Underground Railroad in Saginaw, was selected by the National Association of Social Workers to receive the Public Citizen Award for the state of Michigan.
Gleesing manages personal protection orders, victim notification and supervised visitation programs and provides advocacy and support for survivors by working collaboratively with law enforcement officers, prosecutors, judges, the Department of Human Services and the Department of Community Mental Health.
