This session explores increasing information available not only about the benefits of physical activity and nutrition on our mental health but also the negative effects that a lack of physical activity and proper nutrition have on it. This CE opportunity will introduce the significant findings that will help you understand how physical activity and proper nutrition impact our mental health, as well as the potential detriments to our mental health when this is lacking. It will also help you identify simple strategies to increase activity levels and improve your understanding of nutrition. This information is beneficial for everyone, providers and clients alike.

  • Jason Wheatley, LMSW, ACSW is a clinically licensed masters level social worker and a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. When appropriate, he combines holistic approaches into his practice with clients, using current information on the benefits of physical activity and nutrition on mental health
