Come celebrate National Social Work Month by getting in touch with your inner superhero! Superhero therapy is an evidence-based, creative approach that integrates pop culture (comics, movies, games) into Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help patients—especially children and teens—process trauma, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Developed by Dr. Janina Scarlet, this method helps clients identify with a hero to reframe their own "origin story," building strength and resilience LocationHoyt Library Auditorium 505 Janes Ave Saginaw, Mi. 48607 CostCE Information1 CE Credit NASW-MI Provider Number MICEC-0017.
