2023 NASW-Michigan State of the Association Thursday, January 26, 2023 6-7pm 1 Free CE (Open to all Michigan social workers)
All Michigan social workers are invited to the first annual NASW-Michigan State of the Association event! During this webinar, social workers will interact with NASW-Michigan Chapter leaders to learn of key practice and advocacy priorities for the upcoming year and explore ways to get involved in leadership roles throughout the state. Updates will be provided on licensure/ASWB advocacy, workforce development initiatives, regional programming, upcoming certificate programs and conferences, and legislative priorities moving into 2023.

Learning Objectives: - Summarize the hot-button practice and policy issues affecting the social work profession in Michigan
- Describe the primary strategies that social work and social policy organizations will utilize when interfacing with the Michigan legislative system

- Share strategic visions for the collective social work movement
