Current NASW members must login with their NASW Member ID number (starting with 88) in order to receive discount pricing. For employers wishing to register and pay for multiple individuals, please contact the office for assistance. Please note there is an added cost of $50 for registrations made after the registration deadline or on-site at the Radisson.
- Refund Policy: Refund requests received by two weeks before the Conference will be subject to a $100.00 processing fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations after that time period. Refunds will be made in the same form the payments were received. If payment was made by check, refund will be issued via check; if payment was made by credit card, refund will be issued to the credit card used to pay for the course. Your refund will arrive by check or back to your card within 3-4 weeks after receiving your
request.
- COVID Policy: We are committed to coming together again to learn and grow, and doing so with your health and safety in mind. As of the date of registration opening, masks will be optional for our conference. Please understand that as information becomes available and at the recommendation of state and federal leaders, as well as national policies, the mask requirement is subject to change. We appreciate your cooperation as we strive to move forward, resume our beloved activities while also centering community health and safety.
- Consent to Use Photographic Images: Attendance at, or participation in, NASW-MI conferences constitutes an
agreement by the attendee to the use and distribution of the attendee's image or voice in photographs, videotapes, and electronic reproductions by NASW-MI.
- Code of Conduct: NASW-MI is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), nationality, level of experience or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of program participants in any form, nor do we tolerate behavior that would reasonably lead to another participant being made to feel unsafe, insecure, or frightened for their physical or emotional well-being. All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience. Program participants, including stakeholders, violating these rules may be expelled from the program without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers. By registering for the conference, you are agreeing to follow the code of conduct.
- Personal Belongings: NASW-MI is not responsible for personal items belonging to attendees during the conference.
- Speaker Cancellations: Although NASW-MI makes every effort to ensure each session comes off smoothly, we occasionally have a speaker cancel at the last minute. We will make every effort to let attendees know as soon as possible in this instance. For this reason, it’s a good idea to select a second choice for all breakout sessions.
- CE Credit: You must attend the entire session to receive continuing education credit. No partial credit will be given.
