NASW-Michigan has put together another dynamic conference - please plan to join us for the 2021 Meeting of the Profession Conference: Social Workers are Essential! The conference will highlight the invaluable contributions social workers make in our society, spotlight emerging areas of the field, and provide opportunities for collaboration and advocacy. 

 

When: Thursday, April 15 - Friday, April 16, 2021

Where: Virtually 

Continuing Education: Each up to 16 CEs (8 CEs per day), including all of the ethics, pain management, and human trafficking requirements. MCBAP credits also available. All sessions are live. 

(NASW-Michigan is an approved provider through the Michigan Continuing Education Collaborative)

Special Events: 

  • Retirement Celebration for NASW-Michigan Executive Director Maxine Thome. Thursday, April 15, 2021. 5:30-6:30pm. (This event is free for all and included automatically when registering for the conference. If you are not attending the rest of the conference, but would like to attend the retirement celebration, please choose that registration option (optional donations are being accepted for the Student Leadership in Diversity Scholarship)
  • Lifetime Achievement Award Presentation, Carol Goss, LMSW. Friday, April 16, 2021. 8:30am (included in conference registration)

Session Topics: There are over 60 workshops to choose from during the conference! Current workshop offerings and conference schedule can be viewed here.(Please note that you will not need to choose your workshop selections when registering)

  • Ticket automatically included if you registered for the conference
