Mind-Body in Social Work Interest Group - March CE on "Food Mood": Integrative Health Strategies for Rapid Clinical Impact: How to Eat Join us for our March meetings for a two-part series with 1 FREE Pain CE for each meeting! How to Eat: during our second presentation, we will identify mindful eating strategies while engaging in meditation practice that highlights the use of core mindfulness skills. We will explore the types of hunger, learn ways to mindfully gather with gratitude, listen to body cues, and savor with our senses.
Guided Mindful Eating Meditation with Grace Rawlins
Items needed: A warm beverage, a bite to eat (whatever serves you). If you do not wish to actively eat or drink during this exercise, you can absolutely participate in the mindfulness activity without the presence of food.
Collectively we will build ways to nourish a present relationship between our mind, body, and food. This group currently plans to meet quarterly (September, December March, and June) with a daytime and evening option each month: 2nd Monday @ noon ET or 2nd Thursday 7pm ET (9am AUST). If you are interested in receiving updates and meeting reminders via email, please complete this short form.
