NASW-MI Human-Animal Bond in SW Quarterly Meeting Virtual | 1st Tuesdays in January, April, July, and October from 11:00am - 12:00pm Join us for the NASW-Michigan Chapter’s Human-Animal Bond Workgroup—a collaborative space for social workers who recognize the profound connection between humans and animals. This quarterly group is open to professionals and students alike who are interested in exploring how animals impact human health, healing, and quality of life. Together, we’ll dive into topics such as veterinary social work, animal-assisted therapy and interventions, grief and loss related to companion animals, and the ethical and systemic considerations involved in supporting clients through the human-animal bond. Whether you're already working in this space or simply curious about the possibilities, your voice and vision will help guide the development of this emerging focus in social work practice.   Click here to register
