Event Details
Region 10 welcomes social workers from around the region to a special fall kick-off event with new Region Representative Ellen Craine. This workshop will be a meet and greet for social workers followed by a 90 minute session on social work ethics. The 90 minutes will be a combination of case discussion utilizing the updated NASW Code of Ethics and the 5 pillars developed by the presenter for analyzing cases that she uses in private social work ethics consultations.   **PLEASE NOTE THE LOCATION FOR THIS EVENT HAS CHANGED TO THE ANN ARBOR DISTRICT LIBRARY - MALLETS CREEK BRANCH.**
  Learning Objectives:
    Participants will make connections with other social workers in the region. Participants will become familiar with the updated NASW Code of Ethics. Participants will become familiar with the 5 pillars presenter has developed for analyzing cases.
  Presenter: Ellen M. Craine, JD, LMSW, ACSW. Ellen is in private practice as a social work ethics consultant. In addition, she is a social work therapist. Ellen teaches social work CEU classes for Eastern Michigan University and Michigan State University on a variety of topics all including social work ethics.   This workshop is free for NASW members, $20 for non-members.
