<p style="line-height: 24px;">Join us for the NASW-Michigan Chapter’s Human-Animal Bond Workgroup—a collaborative space for social workers who recognize the profound connection between humans and animals. This quarterly group is open to professionals and students alike who are interested
    in exploring how animals impact human health, healing, and quality of life.</p>
<p style="line-height: 24px;">Together, we’ll dive into topics such as veterinary social work, animal-assisted therapy and interventions, grief and loss related to companion animals, and the ethical and systemic considerations involved in supporting clients through the human-animal
    bond. Whether you're already working in this space or simply curious about the possibilities, your voice and vision will help guide the development of this emerging focus in social work practice.</p>

The committee aims to develop resources and practice guidelines, discuss policy initiatives, and be a guide for the chapter on future initiatives. <description><![CDATA[<p><strong><span style="color: #006663;"><br class="Apple-interchange-newline" />Mind-Body in Social Work Interest Group</span></strong></p><p><span style="font-family: Arial;">This group currently plans to meet quarterly (September, December March, and June) with a daytime and evening option each month: 2nd Monday @ noon ET or 2nd Thursday 7pm ET (9am AUST).
