NASW-Michigan's Substance Use Supervision Institute is back!

Social workers play a key role in keeping people healthy and productive in our society, but there aren’t currently enough Social Work Certified Clinical Supervisors to meet the demand to grow the workforce. The NASW-Michigan Substance Use Supervision Institute is the answer.

The SUD Supervision Institute prepares social workers from various specializations and backgrounds to provide better clinical supervision and to better assess, diagnose and treat adults and adolescents suffering from co-occurring disorders. Participants will be prepared to sit for the certified clinical supervision exam, and upon passing it, they will receive their certified clinical supervision certification from the Michigan Certification Board for Addictions Professionals.

The institute features intensive supervision training, and state of the art treatment knowledge education on areas including: pharmacological interventions, evidence-informed practice, and agency implementation.
