Greetings!

 

You are invited to the next Region 1 NASW-Michigan meeting (and brown bag lunch) presentation titled "Social Worker: Teens with Anxiety and/or Depression" presented by Eric Turner LMSW from the Hematite Teen Health Clinic. This workshop will provide mental health clinicians with tools and knowledge to help equip teens and others to better manage anxiety and depression.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Provide resources for clinicians working with teens r/t depression and anxiety.
  • Introduce effective model for cognitive behavioral therapy with teens. 
  • Effective model for using mindfulness, progressive muscle relaxation, etc.

 

Please feel free to invite others who may have an interest in the subject. 1 Social Work CE will be offered free to NASW members ($10 for nonmembers).  CE may also be used for MCBAP.
