The NASW-Michigan Annual Conference is coming back by popular demand in 2019! We hope that you will join us at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center on September 26-28. The Annual Conference Committee is currently seeking your feedback on the types of workshops and programs you would like to see at the event. If you would like to provide input, please complete a short survey


We are currently accepting request for proposals to present at our 2019 Annual Conference! Complete this short Request for Proposals (RFP) form to submit your workshop*. Proposals are due by February 18, 2019. Presenters will be notified if their workshop is selected no later than May 31, 2019. Selected workshops will either present on Friday, September 27 or Saturday, September 28, 2019. 


More information regarding price, hotel accommodations, sponsorship and exhibiting opportunities, and continuing education credits will be announced soon. Updated information will be posted on this page as it becomes available.


*Please note that incomplete proposals will not be considered.

What: 2019 NASW-Michigan Annual Conference

When: Friday, September 27- Saturday, September 28, 2019, with a pre-conference event on September 26.

Where: Creek VA Medical Center, located at 5500 Armstrong Road, Battle Creek, MI 49037

Who: All Michigan social workers, students, and employers are welcome! The 2 ½ day conference will have something for everyone.

CE Credits: Ethics, pain management, MCBAP, and human trafficking credits will be available
