Holistic and alternative therapies have made their entrance into mainstream trauma-healing work. Like yoga and meditation, ear acupuncture (Auricular acupuncture) uses a blend of western and eastern medicine and is a natural tool that is accessible and complimentary to traditional trauma treatment. This presentation will explore the use of ear acupuncture as an adjunct remedy in alleviating symptoms of common trauma symptoms.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Recognize ear acupuncture as complementary practice in trauma relief.
  2. Underline multicultural and holistic elements within ear acupuncture practice.
  3. Identify benefits of using ear acupuncture as adjunct therapy in trauma treatment.
