This Region 5 workshop will provide information on the history of pain management and treatment that will link to current best practices resulting in a deeper foundation of current pain treatment.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn history of the development of pain management
  • Learn how pain management has evolved
  • Learn current best practices

Presenter: Joseph Rainey, LMSW, LMCT, ICAADC, LLBT. Joseph has over 50 years experience as a medical social worker, including working with veterans at Walter Reed. Specializes in addiction treatment.

 

This events is approved for 2 pain management CEs for social workers. Free for NASW members, $35 for future members.
