The Supervision Registry is a free benefit of membership for those who are looking for a supervisor to complete the necessary hours for independent licensure. The supervisors who have joined the registry are listed by county where the supervision will occur. All supervisors listed on this registry have completed NASW-Michigan’s Certification in Core Supervision, are fully licensed in the state of Michigan, and have at least three years of experience in the field.

Areas of Specialization/Scope of Practice: Leigh Robertson has been a social worker since 1980. Since 2006, she has worked at University of Michigan, School of Social Work's Office of Field Instruction as a field educator/lecturer/field liaison. Previously, she worked as a clinical social worker in the medical/surgical service at the U-M Health Systems, where she also served as a field instructor. Prior to coming to Ann Arbor in 2005, Leigh was a medical social worker at Michigan State University-Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies for five years. While in this position, she served as field instructor for Western Michigan University (WMU), where she discovered her love for field supervision. Leigh was also involved in field education in Kalamazoo. At the WMU School of Social Work, she functioned as a member of the Field Advisory Committee for many years, and she worked as a field liaison and taught undergraduate social work courses. Leigh has extensive experience in mental health working as case manager on an Assertive Community Treatment Team for Community Mental Health in Van Buren County, where she worked with a wide variety of clients who were dual diagnosed. After receiving her MSW from Western Michigan University in 1996, Leigh provided mental health outpatient and case management services to older adults in Battle Creek, MI. Leigh also has macro experience as she was director of the Lesbian and Gay Community Center in Cleveland, Ohio, where she gained experience in community organization, management, and social activism. Early in Leigh's social work career, she worked in five domestic violence shelters in Michigan and was actively involved with the Michigan Coalition Against Domestic Violence Lesbian Task Force, where she provided anti-homophobia trainings to shelter staff.
